It is the best interest and welfare for both party (Contractor and Client) when we put ourselves to the right position with full of wisdom to know your Snow Removal Contract's content. There are times that when we sign-up for the Snow Removal Service we have to consider it by reading carefully what are the stipulations written in the Contract that are disadvantages and advantages to you. The worse thing to happen when we think that everything is fine. But most of the Snow Contractors are clear enough to express their services in black and white informations as possible. However, there are times that either we do not careless to read or we do not really understand what is written in the Contract and to your surprise you feel you have been deceive. As in the Contractor's perspective we tried to write everything that could possible that will not create confusion in the future. Like the 5cm thickness of the snow before removal is a norm to all Contractors in the GTA. Unless, you will make a special Contract that will make an amendment on the thickness of the snow before removal. Be prepared to make some extra cost or negotiate with them in a cheaper price. It is the consumer's right to be well verse on all the stipulations written in the Contract or else you will be confronted with disappointment. Remember, you will be charged if you call them for removal of the snow that is less than 5cm. (at least $50). The best option If you do not feel paying extra cost for the Snow removal less than the centimeter specified, you can purchase a bag of salt from any hardware store (i.e. Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Lowes) and sprinkle them on your driveway and walkway when the snow is not thick (>5cm) enough to be removed by your Contractor. On that, you will have rest assure less trouble. |
PATIENCE IS THE BEST VIRTUE FOR SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES

It is very important that we must be patient to your 'Snow Removal Contractor'. You tend to panic when the snow on your driveway is not remove right away. As much as you want your snow to disappear, same thing that your 'Contractor' is eager to tend your needs. As we all know that it takes 12 hours for the 'Contractor' to remove your snow (As indicated to your "Contract"). However, there are many reasons why there is a delay for your 'Contractor' to be there right away. One, the Snow Storm is still persistently in effect and the snow is still dumping. It is useless for the 'Contractor' to remove your snow right away. It is not wise for them to do it in an efficient manner. Two, they are tight-up in the midst of the Rush hour traffic and they cannot move at all to look after your snow. Three, they are on route in Planned sequence toward your property and maybe some clients like you are calling too for their snow problem. You expect them to answer you promptly but in that day thousands of call are taking place. The time your 'Contractor' is busy removing the snow, they are busy answering everybody. Unless they have their own full time Secretary to receive your call and explain. Four, their Driver or Helper decide not to show up at that day. This is the worst nightmare to the 'Snow Removal Company'. Lastly, there must be Mechanical Failures to one of their trucks or equipments. This is unpreventable event and they cannot do about it but bear in mind that they are doing all the possible options and alternative to remove your snow right away. Everybody have the right to be upset about the service but you must consider the possible unforeseen circumstances that takes place in that day. There are many things may occur on that day that your 'Contractor' are not willing to take it. The only thing you need is to pray for your longer patience. |
PROCRASTINATION, THE NUMBER ONE FRIEND OF EVERYONE

North Americans tend to entertain and fondle 'procrastination'. It is a decease of everyone to those who are too busy doing nothing, "Ah! I have lots of time for that and this." In reality, the next time we realized we are running out of time or even too late to undo. We are overwhelmed with lots of things to do and we don't even know which one we will do it first. Regardless what level of things we should do, whether at Work, Family or even Love life. We must do it while you have a glimpse of time before everything will be too late. If we are in the midst of dilemma, we must set our mind to do the task one at the time. We must make a checklist and categorized them in a priority list. Then, work at them one at the time. The next time you know, you have completed everything in a fashion manner. So, your wife will cease nagging you for any job to be done by only a "man" can do. Likewise, when you decide to have Snow Removal Service for your property, you must act right away in the beginning of the season because there will be a time that everything is too late. Most of the Snow Removal Services have allotted contracts to be signed. If you are planning to sign-up in the midst of the Winter season, there is a strong possibility that they are book for the rest of the season and you will find yourself at the middle of nowhere and still looking for your Snow Service needs. There is an old sayings, "THERE IS NO TOMORROW IF YOU COULD DO IT TODAY". EAVESTHROUGH / ROOF GUTTER CLEANING

When it comes to "EAVESTHROUGH GUTTER CLEANING" is an easy task and you will save
money than letting your "Contractor" do it. However, it will involve
safety precautions. You have to have a proper equipments such as: tall
right ladder, safety harness, and etc. When you do it yourself and you
have all the safety precautions in place, never use the gutter as support, and
always tie your harness to the chimney or solid structure to prevent
fall. Neglecting your Eavesthrough cleaning may cause damage to your roof gutters, breeding ground for carpenter ants, airwicks, mosquitoes, and etc. This project must be done twice a year, Fall and Spring time. All our good intentions are positive. However, we may risk to injured ourselves and even cause death when we are trying to save money. It is not worth-it when you fall from the roof if you do not have any safety precautions. If you feel uncomfortable to go up to the roof, don't do it at all. Just call us and we will tend your building maintenance needs. Call at 416 723-6105 or send us an mail: [email protected] |

What is the most important thing when you enter to a contract with your "Contractor"? Regardless what you want him/her to do in your property whether it is a big or small project, you are still liable for his welfare or safety when he is working in your property. You have to ensure that he has a valid Insurance coverage and WSIB just in case he/she will bungle or he/she will injured himself/herself in you property. At least you have a peace of mind that you want the project to be done without hassle. Today it is still existing of small time Contractors that they tried to save money and risk themselves to work with the Customers without any insurance coverage at all. This is very risky when customer will play ignorant in their part too. Be careful what you are getting into. You have to make sure and ask your "Contractor" for the copy of his/her insurance coverage first before you will make him/her start your project. Snow Angels Contracting have a full coverage and will assure it to you that we take care of our customer. Just drop us a line or send us an email. Cheers |

When signing up the "Contract" whether it is for Snow Removal or Grass Cutting and your first time you have a contract with the "Contractor". You can ask the Contractor if you could pay them partially on the cost of the job, the rest of the balance will be paid upon the completion of the project. You may also insist that if they have monthly payment option. In that you will not have a "Run Away Contractor" |
